A little about me...
My name is Melba Villarreal and I have been teaching for 11 years. I graduated with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston in 1999. That same year, I married my husband Marcos and we have a 5 year old son named Alan and a 1 year old daughter named Carolina. In December of 2004, I graduated from Prairie View University with a Masters in Counseling. I absolutely love teaching Kindergarten and I'm delighted to be teaching at Herrera Elementary. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures around the world.
